assistant

Veterinary assistants support the needs of our doctors and technicians through care for patients and the hospital environment. Certification is not a requirement of employment, but is available through NAVTA approved programs.

Our team of assistants play a pivotal role throughout the day by restraining patients, prepping lab samples, vaccines and prescriptions, charting, tending to hospitalized and surgical patients, and keeping our hospital neat and tidy. An excellent assistant who is always thinking ahead and anticipating the needs of team members and patients allows our hospital to function at its highest level.
